Nazareth

Isabel first introduced me to Ethiopian cuisine last December at her favourite spot in the city, Nazareth. The little diamond in the rough is at Bloor and Ossington, and so worth the trip and the (usually) long wait. The food is amazing and the servers are very pleasant and kind. My favourite dishes are the fish and vegetable plates, which Jane, Isabel, and I shared on this particular occasion. Instead of cutlery you eat the stew-like platters with injera, which is a spongy yeast-risen flatbread. I highly recommend to carnivores and herbivores alike.
