Hey fashionistas! Welcome to Jane's and my new blog. Yesterday I attended the last shows of the season with the lovely Isabel Mendoza, including Klaxon Howl, Anu Raina, Amanda Lew Kee, and Line Knitwear.
Klaxon Howl showed some awesome tailored menswear, and surprise guest Samuel L. Jackson was in the house, sitting front row with FDCC president Robin Kay. But in all honestly some of the male models were so good looking Isabel and I were too distracted to pay full attention to the clothing.
Samuel L. Jackson, probably the most casually dressed man at Heritage Court.
Klaxon Howl F/W 2011
Ryerson grad Amanda Lew Kee F/W 2011 showed an extremely strong collection, especially considering this is only her second time showing at LGFW. The metallic green and blue and orange sparkly tinsel-like fabric livened up the sea of black wonderfulness. I want everything.
Line Knitwear F/W 2011 was the definition of cozy. A little hard to think about wearing when we are finally seeing the first spring weather, but beautiful nonetheless. My favourite piece in the collection was the beige sweater with the braided back and fur cuffs. Definitely will be on my wish list in about six months.
I am always impressed when people have the balls to wear an outlandish outfit such as this, and I could not resist taking a picture of her. Kind of PVC Barbie-esque, no? What are your thoughts?
Hope you enjoyed!
