Grimes - Vanessa by Arbutus Records
KTZ is a London and Paris-based designer collaboration between Central Saint Martins-educated Koji Maruyama and Marjan Pejoski, and Sasko Bezovski, who trained in architecture. KTZ stands for Kokon to Zai, which means 'from here to then.' They chose this for the name of their line because, "It's the journey, be it style or fashion. It should be the transgression or movement of the wearer’s feelings and ideas… Not the other way round.” The first Kokon to Zai boutique was opened in 1996, and now the brand is sold in Topshop, ASOS, and Dover Street Market, etc. Their designs are always super youthful and fun, full of colour and crazy patterns, and are constructed to have architectural shapes. Their A/W 2011 collection combined mainly primary colours with black and white, contained geometric shapes, and contrasted different fabrics including fur, leather, PVC, nylon, and knits.
